Massimiliano Settimelli -

Born in 1972 and graduated in Architecture department of Florence University Massimiliano Settimelli since 2001 works as professional doing architectural projects, both private and public, and industrial design. Over the years he had built solid partnerships with various companies among which we mention: Colombo Design, Rubinetteria Webert, StilHaus, Officinanove, Slide Design, Qsquared, Pezzani. In 2002 he is been awarded with the first prize at the European contest “GLASSHOUSE EUROPEAN COMPETITION” sponsored by PILKINGTON having as subject the design of a house made of glass. This project had massive and positive feedbacks from the specialized press. In 2006, after the victory at “FIRST TAP INDUSTRIAL DESIGN CONTEST”  he is been assigned to design several collections for the firm which sponsored the competition: Webert of Novara. In 2009 he became the art director of Webert and beside designing collections he toke care of the firm’s stand set up into the major fairs all over the world. In the same year starts a collaboration with OFFICINANOVE designing collections. in 2011 starts the cooperation with COLOMBO DESIGN designing various collection of handles. He is been awarded as “best project -section bathroom” for his tap  “Wolo” by the American magazine “Interior design”. The year after he won the “RED DOT” with his tap “Aria”. In 2013 he started a partnership with associated studio LDA.IMDA as director of the design section. In 2014 he designed a collection of glasses for Contesse-Milan. Finally in 2015 he meets Apuana Corporate and the marble, his collection is still in progress. His work has been published into the major specialist magazines as INTERNI, DOMUS, IL BAGNO, MARIE CLAIRE MAISON, ELLE DECOR and BAGNO DESIGN, being on the cover two times.
